Our administrator, Amy Prater, became an occupational therapist in 2001. She has been the Administrator at Wolfe County Health and Rehabilitation since 2013. She began her career at WCHR in 2002 as the Rehabilitation Manager.
Darlene Childers has been our rehabilitation manager for the past two years, and has been at Wolfe County HRC for nearly a decade. Our rehabilitation staff consists of two occupational therapists, one physical therapist, two physical therapy assistants, and one speech therapist.They have a combined total of over 45 years experience.
Brenda Creech, activity director, began her career at WCHR in 1995. In 2000, she became our Activity/Social Service Director. She makes sure residents stay involved in the community and provides them with meaningful, energetic activities.
Dianne Brewer has been our housekeeping and laundry supervisor since 2008. Dianne is very meticulous in her work, and is famous for her ‘green thumb.’ She helps to keep the beautiful flowers and plants throughout the facility grounds gorgeous. She ensures our residents’ home is pristine.
Mary Watkins, RN, is our director of nursing. She began her career at WCHR in 1993 as a nurse. She has previously been a unit supervisor and an MDS coordinator.
Sue is a registered dietary manager who began her career at WCHR in 2004. She prides herself in preparing and providing delicious meals and snacks to the residents, and knows every resident’s favorite foods by heart.
