As musician Shefton Kash’s played Christmas carols on his guitar in the dining hall, joy and laughter from the Wolfe County HRC filled the facility. It was their Annual Employee Christmas Party and one that the staff would cherish for years to come.
With gifts under the beautiful Christmas tree serving as a wonderful backdrop to this collection of friends and family, those in attendance feasted on a delicious meal prepared by Dietary Manager Sue Banks. The image looked like a Norman Rockwell feast. After dinner, the employees enjoyed coffee and Christmas-themed cookies such as snowflakes, trees and snowmen that were made by the Wolfe Co. HRC residents.
“We are so blessed to have each other,” Administrator Amy Prater said. “It feels like a family and I just want them to know that I love them all and wish them a Merry Christmas.”
