Wolfe County Health and Rehabilitation Center celebrated our win of the Kentucky Association of Health Care Facilities (KAHCF) “Facility of the Year.” Joining us for our celebration were members from KAHCF, our nursing home group, current and former Wolfe Co. HRC staff members, residents and their families, and our community.We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to our Chaplain Reverend Doyle Thomas, Congressman Andy Barr, Representative Hubert Collins, Wolfe County Judge Executive Dennis Brooks, Terry Forcht, former Wolfe Co. HRC Administrator Susan Arnold, Shirley Little Halcomb, KAHCF Chairman of the Board Debra Finneran, and KAHCF President Betsy Johnson for addressing the audience of staff, residents, family, and friends. We would also like to thank Steve McClain from KAHCF for his help with program planning, and photographer Larry Smith for capturing our celebration in pictures.
Wolfe Co. HRC won “Facility of the Year” at the KAHCF Annual Meeting and Trade Show, which was November 17-19, 2015 at the Galt House in Lousiville. At this event, almost 1,000 attendees come together to share ideas and continue their education on ways of providing quality long-term care.
This celebration was a way to “bring it home” and enjoy it with the people who made this award possible–our staff, our community, and most importantly, our wonderful residents. Congratulations to all of you for we could not have done this without you!

Wolfe County Health Care Center is a 100-bed nursing facility located in the Southeastern Kentucky town of Campton. We provide many services including 24-hour nursing, physician, radiology, laboratory and pharmacy services. We also offer Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy.
