Wolfe Co. HRC KRADDThe staff at Wolfe County Health and Rehabilitation traveled to Hazard to attend the Kentucky River Area Development District (KRADD) conference. The goal of this conference is to educate long term care professionals as well as community members about the reality of elder abuse.

At the conference, Wolfe County HRC’s Nursing Supervisor, Teresa King, was presented with an award for her excellent work in long term care. Congratulations, Teresa!

KRADD is a quasi-governmental organization. It works with both city and county governments to improve the quality of life for our aging population. KRADD is also a representative for our local citizens and acts as a communicator between governments on the city, county, state, and federal levels.

Wolfe County HRC was proud to be there as an advocate for our elderly in Kentucky.
