Where can you find Donald Trump, a mischievous elf, and Santa’s reindeer all in one place? That would be at the Wolfe County Health and Rehabilitation Center’s “Ugly Sweater Contest.”
The contest was held on Wednesday, December 16. The staff really outdid themselves — competing for the title of ugliest sweater. One of the sweaters depicted a Christmas tree and lit up in bright green lights. Another sported a snowman pieced together with cotton rounds and pipe cleaner. A facility favorite was a red sweater that displayed a picture of a fireplace, and when the arms opened to make a “T,” the sleeves made a mantle with stockings hanging off of it.
The residents had so much fun enjoying the creativity inspired by the competition. No one could decide on just one winner, so everyone was declared a champion!
