Wolfe County Health and Rehabilitation Center raised over $1689.00 for a local family in need. We hosted a silent auction to benefit Ben Ramsey, the son of our nurse, Isis Ramsey, and her husband Richard.
Ben is 7-years-old and suffers from Drug Resistant Epilepsy. He is in the testing phase at the Cinicinnati Children’s Hospital to determine the best method of treatment. All of the proceeds from our silent auction went to the Ramsey family to help them pay for the medical expenses. Ben is scheduled for surgery early in March.
Silent auction items were donated from various community members and organizations. Items included purses, gift baskets, home decor, jewelry, and more. The donations still continue to come in for the Ramsey family.
We would like to extend a very heart warming “thank you” to all those who donated items, came to our silent auction, or sent bids for our fundraiser. We appreciate our wonderful community for helping Wolfe County HRC help this family! You made our event a success for a great cause.
